We arrived at the woods in the pouring rain.
We paused and it passed, followed by glorious sunshine.
A low glow, bathing everything in a beautiful golden light.
We had the place to ourselves.................................................or did we?

Lovely!
ReplyDeleteSuper photos! It has been so good to see blue skies for the past two days. It is frosty here this morning, with some mist, but hopefully that will burn of and we will have some more sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend, xx
What a fab bird house!
ReplyDeleteSounds perfect - especially the smell of line dried laundry :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't bothered hanging any washing out, even when it's a dry day it's just too cold. I agree though, there's nothing nicer than the smell of washing which has been dried outdoors. Spring is on the way, that's music to my ears.
ReplyDeleteMidwinter has indeed passed. And it is a wonderful feeling.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos by the way. xxx...x
What an amazing view your first photo shows. Almost can feel the cold, fresh air. Good to feel the seasons moving on.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely view of the snow covered mountains. My daughter would love finding all of those fairy homes!
ReplyDeleteWe are back to rain (very heavy at times) over here. It's alright though, I seem to be able to handle the gray skies when there are spring blooms everywhere. Wishing you a lovely sunny weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. There is *something* about getting washing on the line and dried isn't there....our mountains too, are snow capped, and we are forecast for snow this weekend, fingers crossed! xx
