Balancing
02 October 2015
This is a reflection of my life at the moment.
A fine balancing act, a support.
I am happy, it is no longer a struggle.
Can I strike that balance here in this space, which I have missed so much, with the rest of life?
Time will tell........
So here hath been dawning
Another blue day:
Think, wilt thou let it
Slip useless away?
From To-day by Thomas Carlyle
The days are dawning blue with magnificent skies, the sunshine that we have craved all summer has now arrived.
They are full, simple and contented.
What about yours?

Bonjour
ReplyDeleteLovely to see a post from you again.
Glad to hear that life is being good to you.
Thank you Emma, I hope I stay around.....
DeleteWelcome back.
ReplyDeleteBalancing blogging with the rest of my life is something I struggle with too. It is so time consuming. But it would leave such a big hole if it wasn't there.
Make the most of the sunshine while it lasts!
It did leave a hole but it has taken me some time to work out how to fit it back in again!
DeleteSo glad you have found stability, though it be fragile. I think we all have times like yours. We just need to persevere. The sun always rises. Happy for you!
ReplyDeleteThe sun does always rise, I would do well to remember that on some days!
DeleteYour first few sentences make me happy. I am so glad to hear you have found the balance you were seeking, and that life is good in your world.
ReplyDeleteFull, simple and contented, that describes my days too. Enjoy your weekend. I look forward to reading your words again soon.
Thank you Kim, I am looking forward to sharing here again.
DeleteWelcome back my dear... It is really hard to find that equilibrium. I used to feel guilty when I spent days away from my space, but I've come to ask myself one very important question : Who do I blog for? And at the end, I blog for me... to keep a record of my time with my children. Sharing with others and creating such wonderful conections is just a happy bonus. So when you have time, we will be there. When your time is needed elsewhere, we all understand. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, I had not thought of it like that. Thank you Yanic for your thoughtful kind words.
DeleteIt's so nice to see you! I hope you'll be back here soon. The balance is never easy but I love what blogging has done for me and my life. I'm glad you're finding a balance too.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I have missed it as I love it too, I just hope I can make it all work!
DeleteHello! And Hurrah! for the balanced life (if not the exhaustion sometimes inherent in balancing it). And Yay! to finding a post from you x
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope I can keep that balance and that coming back here will not tip it......

ReplyDeleteBalance is always a diffucult thing...

DeleteSo good to see you writing again :) It can be hard to achieve balance. Sometimes I just need to trust my intuition and step away into the quiet for a while. Wishing you a peaceful weekend. Thanks for linking up :)
ReplyDeleteI think there will be quite a bit of stepping into the quiet, I don't think I will be posting quite as often as I used to.
DeleteYeh! Lovely to see you back. I hope you continue to find your balance. Happy is a good place.
