We were privileged to have the
Tour of Britain cycle race come through our village last week. We could have watched the race from the front our house but we decided to walk up into the centre of the village as there was to be a sprint section. There were lots of people out to watch it, it was great to have so many people out on the village.
The sprinters came first
Then the Peloton
Then the huge mass of support vehicles, including a van which had a label 'broom' complete with a witch type broom the side!
It was all over in seconds after a long wait but somehow the build up of excitement with so many people made it all worthwhile.
