In France they have a table called a shepherds table which is folded upwards when not in use to hide the plates, cups etc. Don't have one myself but I like them a lot.<br />I have the same 'hunt' the library books problem! And I never have quite enough space for all of the library books either. Bookshelves always seem to magically fill, and very quickly too.
