My son was failing at school....I completely agree! My son was failing at school. All they could see was he was behind. They didn't look at the big picture and so it was up to me to find out he was dyslexic. Worst thing is it probably won't make a difference to how school teach him. If he doesn't get a statement he won't get any extra help. He probably won't get a statement because I've done so much work with him at home.
