...is for notebooks...

...it seems I have quite a collection.....

....one for shopping lists, another for keeping track of things I need to do for the Scouts, one for bloggy things, one for keeping track of learning,  a book for homemade cleaning recipes, another a list of birds we have spotted on days out and the last a list of books and resources for our home education journey.....

...I wouldn't be without them what about you?

  1. I have several too but I often have them for years before I can bring myself to spoil them by writing in them especially if they are really nice ones! How mad is that. Reminds me of having a new exercise book when I was at school and not wanting to make any mistakes in it.

  2. I have a few too but I'm not as organized as you, mine tend to have bits of this and that all mixed up. I have however just started a color idea note book for knitting and crochet projects that I'm going to keep just for that purpose.

  3. I LOVE notebooks and have lots. I can be a bit like Marigold Jam above and feel like I'm spoiling them by writing them but then I love the look of a well used, dog eared, tattered notebook too. I seem to have a particular penchant for A6 size, and I think I have one in every handbag at this stage!!

I love the one on the bottom right in your picture :)

  4. I love notebooks - wouldn't know what I'd do without them. I have always kept journals, and have a pile of those stashed away in a cupboard too. xxx

  5. Me too ... knitting notebook, blog prompts notebook, the notebook I carry everywhere with me, bedside table notebook for all the stuff that occurs as you're falling asleep or waking up, storage notebook that pins down where various things not in common use can be found ... this one dates back to managing four kids lives and possessions in a fairly small house, but I keep using it even now they're mostly flown. There are a few others too. I even have favourite types for different purposes.

  6. I can never ever pass up a notebook that I like! You can never have too many and just look at your selection.

  10. Oh that's a great N, and yes I have been known to hoard one or several until I find the right use for each!

  11. Funnily enough I was going to gather some of my (many) notebooks together the other day and take a picture and write something about them. Didn't get round to it though, life got in the way. It's lovely to see yours. I'm addicted to them! CJ xx

  12. I'm not as organised as you, all my notes are in a jumble in one book. My brother in law bought me the most beautiful notebook and I can't bring myself to write in it, silly really

  13. I have so many notebooks. One of my little obsessions. Ones with pretty covers are a particular weakness. x

  15. I love notebooks! I tend to just have one on the go at a time, but I like how organised you are with yours, perhaps I need to expand my collection :) #alphabetphoto

  16. Oh, I love notebooks too! I also have a bunch of different ones..I can't imagine functioning without them. Your's are so pretty...most of mine are ones I have picked up for $.25 a piece at going-back-to-school sales and are quite boring. I need to find a few pretty ones...so much more fun to use when they are pretty. :)

  17. I love notebooks. I have a big stash. Some with only a few pages used. Couple of years ago, I decided I needed to concentrate on one notebook and use just that one. Gradually getting through my collection. I discovered that there is something about finished a notebook that is just as satisfying as starting one. #AlphabetPhoto

  18. I love notebooks too - last summer I started using them regularly and they've now become the original Elizabeth's Kitchen Diaries. Real, hard copies of recipe ideas, adventures, notes, phone numbers.... everything :) #alphabetphoto
