...hoping to go on a bluebell walk this week, I have arranged to do this twice but the weather was so wet we decided against it, this is the week..........

...looking forward to a BBQ with friends later this week

    We've had similar wedding invitations in the past, and I agree, they really are a cause for sadness.

    1. Thank you for your kind words. I have already decided I am not going, but I simply cannot decide how to reply. I have known about this wedding since before Christmas and had to change plans that were already in place inconveniencing friends up here. I had a dilemma at my own wedding as I had just moved here and most of my friends lived far away we couldn't afford to invite them all for the whole occasion. I wrote a note in all the invites that were evening only acknowledging that is was a big ask for them to come so far for such a short amount of time and I completely understood if they didn't come.

  4. My 3 year old loves those Richard Scarry books. Sorry to hear you have to fend off mice..they must be so difficult to control. I never did get the no kids to wedding thing. Have a great week!

    1. The mice are a nightmare, my biggest pest. I have to be in constant control otherwise they wreck havoc......
