Gratitudes

21 July 2013

Joining in with Taryn for her heartfelt Sunday tradition.

A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful.

This week I have been grateful for...

...the lovely flowers on the honeysuckle in my garden, the smell is divine and fills the garden.

...the sunshine enabling all my plants to grow.

...a chance to go river swimming twice this week, it is not usually hot enough where we live.

...time to read two books.

...a fun hot air ballon workshop at a friends house.

...a wonderful day at home, recharging, tidy, decluttering and chilling out.

...an afternoon nap when I needed a rest.

...reading stories to my children.

...filling our wood sheds with foraged wood ready for the winter.

...the lovely bookshop in our local town which has just opened, we have been with out one for over a year.

  4. So many lovely things to be grateful for! I have been enjoying the flowers in my garden, too. I have also been extremely grateful for a bit of cloud after all of that heat!

  6. A hot air balloon workshop... hopefully this means there is a ride in the near future? Every town should have a small, private book store. One finally opened for us last year and I love it even more because it sells donated books and uses the profits to tutor those in need. Your honeysuckle is gorgeous. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment.
