We have had our first frost of the season, yikes! We knew it was going to be cold last night but I had to scrape the ice off the car this morning when I went out at 9am. It was a proper cold morning followed by the most beautiful sunny day, my favourite kind of day. I was lucky enough to out in the fells today and the views were amazing.
My husband has been out covering all the plants that need protecting in case we have any more cold nights which is highly likely. We are away for a two week holiday tommorrow so I hope there will be some produce left when we come back as it has taken all summer to produce anything!
